Los Animales Stamped Clay Trinket Dishes
Hello! Dana Tatar here today sharing a fun tutorial that features the fantastic Los Animales Cling Stamp Set and ACTÍVA Hearty Air Dry Clay. I love crafting during the month of October. I already assembled a Halloween Mini Album, so I thought it would be enjoyable to create some trinket dishes for the Day of the Dead.
Step 1: Roll out the clay into a flat disc. Firmly press a Los Animales cling stamp into the center of the clay. Press the stamped clay into a small dish and remove the excess clay. Carefully remove the wet clay from the dish and let dry overnight. Note: I used a glass dish as a mold for my clay. A free-form dish would also look amazing!
Step 2: Paint the dishes and let dry. Note: I used ColorBox ColoriQue by Lisa Marie Jimenez to paint the inside of the dishes. I highlighted the edge of my dishes with Gold Lamé Smooch Accent Ink. Any ink or paint will work for this step.
Step 3: Seal the dishes. Note: I like a spray sealant for a smooth finish. Find Rust-Oleum Triple Thick Glaze in the hardware store.
I really love these stamped animals! I hope I have inspired you to try working with a new medium. Air dry clay is easy to work with and is also great for beginners (like me!). Stop by the Paper Wings Productions Store to view the full selection of Day of the Dead Stamps.

Dear Scrappers,
This is Veronica from www.vickyscrappingpassion,blogspot.com sharing with you today a Day of Dead altar/ house I made to teach my crafty friends.
I used Paper Wings Productions:
Mujer Skeleton Cling Stamp

skeletons-cling-stamp-set
I also used:
White cardstock
Neon colors cardstocks
Glitter cardstock
Crafty Chica day of dead printed cardstock
Liquid Glass
Distress Inks: antique linen, Ranger
Many little findings
Gesso, Hero Stamps liquid ink in Teal
Tissue paper
Mod Podge
Metal dies: Sizzix Crafty Chica dies
Michael's house
For this project, I tinted the gesso with the liquid teal ink and roughly painted the walls and outside of the house. Then, I modpodge some tissue papers on the outside walls of the house to resemble stucco. I cut several pieces of glitter paper and neon papers with the metal dies. Choose the pieces of printed cardstock for the walls. Finally after many other steps detailed in my blog tomorrow, I decorated the house with the many findings to resemble a Mexican Day of the Dead altar telling a forever love story.

Halloween is coming
Congratulations to our Blog Hop winner is Salla Porra.
Please contact us at paperwingsproductions@hotmail.com to claim your prize! Thank you to everyone who participated!
today.
I used Paper Wings Productions:
Mujer Skelton Cling Stamp
Calaveras & Corazons
Little Halloween Stamp Set
I also used:
White cardstock
Only Orange Cardstock
ATG
Distress Inks: Black Soot, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet
Mini Mister
Nuvo Drops: Violet Galaxy, Apple Green and Ripened Pumpkin
I smushed the inks on a piece of plastic and misted them with water. I then put the cardstock on top to pick up the inks. I dried them with my heat tool.
I then stamped the images around the card on top of the ink.
To finish off each card I matted it on a piece of Only Orange cardstock and adhered it to a white card base. I also added a few Nuvo drops on the card. I kept it simple and didn't want a lot of bling to take away from the images.
This card used the Mujer Skelton Stamp and sentiment from Calaveras & Corazon.
This card I used Calaveras &Corazons image and sentiment from Little Halloween Set.
I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.

Wings art journal pages
Hi everyone! Leslie here to share a DT inspiration project with you today, my very first set of art journal pages! I'm super excited about how these turned out! I used Art Textures stamp set, Bird Beauty stamp set, Vintage Cuties Clip Art Sheet, Flower Power stamp set, Wings stamp set and Mini Wings stamp set.
I began by stamping random textures in black ink from the Art Textures stamp set over both pages and around the edges. I then brushed gesso over both pages and let dry. I rolled a thin layer of pink acrylic paint (red and white mixed) with a brayer over both pages and let dry. Using a spatula, I applied opaque matte texture paste over a stencil in several places on both pages. When dry, I spritzed a little water and sprayed the Cranberry ink. I let the ink run in some places and lightly blotted it in other places. I stamped the sentiment on the lower right page and then splattered watered-down black gesso over both pages.
I layered a vintage cutie on pearlized cardstock and then again on some torn cardstock, sewed around the edges, and adhered it to the left side. I stamped and fussy cut one large and two small butterflies, colored them with Spectrum Noir markers and added some Shimmer Pico Embellisher to all the wings. I also stamped two yellow flowers and two pink flowers, fussy cut them and added Shimmer Pico Embellisher to those as well. I adhered the butterflies with Tim Holtz gam spinner bodies and the flowers.
For more details and additional photos, please see my blog post at Love To Scrap 2.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my first art journal pages using some pretty amazing stamp sets! Be sure to check out all the fun stamps and other goodies at Paper Wings Productions! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time!
Scrappy hugs,
Leslie
