Spotlight Sunday: Rubber Cling Stamps with Inkadinkado Stamping Gear

Hi everyone, Katie here! I'm new to the design team and I'm excited to be a part of it!

This is my first post as part of the Paper Winds Productions design team, and I want to spotlight how well the Rubber Cling Stamps work with the Inkadinkado Stamping Gear. What's the stamping gear? It's a tool that lets you line up your stamps to create fun symmetrical designs that I think look like spirographs! You can't use regular clear stamps with stamping gear because they're too thin, but the Cling Stamps in the PWP shop work really well with the stamping gear, making it easy to create pretty spirographs.

I used the Pine Cling Stamp Set for my layout, I love anything nature themed and I really like how these stamps make me feel like I'm out in the woods.

Supplies needed: Rubber Cling Stamps, Inkadinkado Stamping Gear, Ink, Paper

How to use the cling stamps with the Inkadinkado Stamping Gear:
Place the stamping gear in the center of your paper. Make sure you're using a piece of paper large enough for the finished stamped spirograph.
Stick one of your cling stamps onto the clear paddle that comes with the stamping gear, you can use the grids on the clear paddle to align the stamp so that it's straight.
Apply ink to your stamp and place the notch at the end of the paddle down into one of the slots in the gear and firmly stamp your image.
You can stamp in every other notch for a more spaced out spirograph or stamp in every notch for a tighter design. I like the closer design that using every notch gives me.

I used a stamping mat underneath my vellum while I worked, I think it makes my stamped images turn out better with the details crisper.

The pinecones in the Pine Cling Stamp Set worked perfectly for the Autumn theme I was using on my layout, so I cut around my stamped spirographs and placed them on my layout then added my journaling in the center.

To finish my layout I layered some papers behind my photo, diecut my title and added some drips of spray mist for a fun look.
