Hi everyone Simply Monica here with a GDT post for the month of August and I am sharing project using the monthly mixed media kit. It is full of yummy goodness: clip art sheets, LSG, Um Wow chippies and so much more be sure to get yours today before supplies run out!!
For my project I created a mixed media canvas piece using the By the Sea Mixed Media Kit. but I didn't use canvas I actually used a piece of thick chipboard that I covered with gesso and then used the Shots from Lindy's Stamp Gang in the kit to make sprays and paints to cover the chipboard.
I used one of the images from the clipart art sheet as the focal points
I then used Coarse Pumice gel that also was included in the kit and a stencil for the decorative leaves in the below picture I then used some of the dry powder from the LSG products to create shine and color
below is a closer look at the handmade flowers I made as well and then I stamped a sentiment from the stamps from the kit
