Have a Witchy Halloween

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today wishing you an early Halloween.  Hey, we have to get our cards ready for the fast approaching holiday season, so check out all the store has for your crafting needs.

Today, I'm using Witchy Halloween stamp set.  This set contains 11 stamps on red rubber with a cushion.  Perfect for Halloween creations.

I stamped the witch in black ink and painted the moon with Smooch Accent Ink for a touch of color.  I wanted the witch to stand out against the moon.  The Good Witch/Bad Witch was stamped twice and punched out.

I chose some fun Halloween papers to coordinate with these fun stamps after all Halloween is all about color and fun times isn't it!  I hope you like my early Halloween card.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Imagine

Hello PWP fans! Its Amber here with you today sharing a card I created with the Vintage Melange Cling Stamp SetThis stamp set contains 7 different stamps and can be purchased cling mounted or unmounted. I used the unmounted set to create this card. I wanted to make a statement with this card so I used the large round image from the stamp set as my main focal image. This image is another one of my favorites, it can be colored or left uncolored like I did here. I chose to leave my image uncolored because I was using a brightly colored and busy patterned paper for the base of my card. You can check out a close up below.

Thanks for visiting! Don't forget we would love to see what you make with Paper Wings Productions Stamps so add your projects to our Flickr Group,to Pinterest, or leave a comment with a link to your project. You can also check out our Facebook Page and You Tube Page for daily inspiration.

Awake My Soul

Happy Tuesday all!  Pam here today to share a project using the Awake My Soul stamp. This is one of my favorites from Paper Wings.

This stamp has such a presence on it's own I wanted to make a one layer card and have it be the focal point.  To give the card an airy feel I used the My Favorite Things Cloudy Day stencil along with the Tim Holtz Distress Marker mister and various shades of blue Distress markers.

After drying completely with a heat tool,

the paper was inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink using a blending tool.

The image was stamped in Archival Black ink over top the clouds background.

Here is a close up of the final result:

Thanks for joining me today and I hope this project has inspired you as much as it inspired me!

Coffee Makes Me Smile

Hello, Friends! Larissa here with you today with a card I made using

Coffee makes me smile in the morning, does it you? Are you addicted to coffee? I am! I have so many favorite coffee's I can never pick just one. My summer favorite is coconut.
Today I used the coffee cup and lid stamp and stamped them on different colors of cardstock. I used a strawberry color for the cup and a light pink for the lid. I also stamped a cup holder in the light pink.
I then cut each out using my detail scissors.

I used my Clear Wink of Stella and covered the entire cup.
I stamped cafe au lait in the middle of the holder.

I adhered it all together.
I then found some pattern paper that matched the strawberry color.

I adhered the card together and then finished it off with a few strawberry colored pearls and the
SMILE.

Coffee Makes Me Smile!!

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.

celebrating you

Hi there! Ashley here today sharing a fun card I made with the Paper Wing's Productions Text Melange stamp set with Ken Oliver Crafts Color Burst Watercolor Powder to make a really cool base for my card. I started with white cardstock and chose my stamp, which I heat embossed with white ink. You could use clear embossing powder or any color you choose. Next you'll spritz your card with some water. I keep a water bottle handy at my desk.
After you spritz some water on your paper, you apply the pigment powder. The water mixes with the powder and creates a really neat affect. You can add more water or more powder and just keep playing. The white embossing powder will act as a resist.
When I achieved the look I wanted, I heat set it. Next I grabbed my PWP Let's Eat Cake clear stamp set to stamp my cake stand and my piece of cake. I stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers, and fussy cut them. I grabbed my We R Memory Keepers Fuse tool and made a little shaker of some sequins and wood veneer pieces and adhered my cake right on the top. Since I had hot pink staples handy, I used those to adhere the shaker pocket to my card base.
Then I grabbed my Staz On ink to stamp my sentiment on the inside of the card. At the last minute, I decided to add some candles to the inside as well and I colored those with Copics.
Here's my finished card. What do you think?
Have a couple of birthdays coming up that you need to prepare for? Larissa recently posted a birthday card and also shared a card on her blog using the Let's Eat Cake stamp set so be sure to check those out!

Little Adventurous Bird

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with my first post for Paper Wings Productions.  I chose to use a wonderful stamp set called the Bird Panel.  This clear stamp set includes 9 stamps.

I chose to use the sentiment as the focal point of this card.  Once I stamped the sentiment, I die cut into an oval and had room to stamp several birds around the sentiment.

I thought this stamp worked really well with my paper selection.  I finished by stamping a few more birds directly on the pattern paper.

Thanks for stopping by.

Carte Postale

Hello all! Happy Wednesday! Pam here today with a card I created using the Postcard Cling Stamp.
I just love working with old postage and postal ephemera so this stamp is perfect!

To create the card I actually stamped the Postcard three times onto Neenah Desert Storm card stock.  Each time I colored directly onto the stamp (the stamps and the meter code) with different color Distress markers and then applied Archival black to the rest of the postcard.
The edges of each were inked with Vintage Photo Distress ink to give them a nostalgic feel.

I wanted the card to look like a pile of mail/postcards so I arranged them in that fashion on a piece of Tim Holtz paper and tied some twice around them before matting them onto the card base.
Here a closer look:

Thanks for joining me today and be sure to also check out my blog for some more inspiration using these fantastic Paper Wings Productions stamps!

Happy Birthday Card

Hello, friends! Larissa here today with a card I made using the Mini Flower cling set.

I cut my white cardstock panel to 4x5 1/4. I then grabbed a strawberry colored ink pad. I stamped the stamp on the ink pad ad then onto the cardstock until the ink was not visible.

I cut a piece of vellum 1x8. I then stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in Versamark ink onto the vellum.
I used a platinum embossing powder to heat-emboss the sentiment.

Once I heat embossed the sentiment I adhered it to the card. I adhered it at an angle.
To finish off the card, I added a few matching sequins.

I found a piece of cardstock that matched the ink so I matted the card to it.
I think it gives it that little extra without taking away from the stamped images.
I really just wanted the main focus of the card to be the mini flowers.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. Don't forget to check back this week to see what the amazing Design Team girls create for you.

Have a wonderful day friends.

thankful for you

Hello everyone! Ashley here with my first post as part of the new design team. I used the text melange stamp set along with the crown stamp set. I heat embossed stamped images from both of those stamp sets and then used distress ink blending for the base of my card.

I stamped a sentiment from Fall Mix It Up and then made a little banner which I adhered with foam dots. This may be a fall themed set, but it has a lot of great little sayings and sentiments for use all year around!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! You can view more details about my card on my blog.
