You're my Princess

Hello friends. Larissa back with you today with a cute card I made for a princess.

I stamped the image on a piece of white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. I used an oval die and cut the image out. I found a piece of pattern paper in my stash that matched. So I added it to the card front which is matted on a piece of hot pink cardstock. I finished the card off with a pink ribbon tied around the card.

Supplies Used:
Paper Wings Productions Princess Clear Stamp
Pattern Paper from My Minds Eye
Stampin Up Melon Mambo cardstock
Stampin Up Pretty and Pink Satin Ribbon
White Cardstock
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Copic Markers: E50, E21, E13, R20, RV13, RV14
Oval Dies
ATG

I hope you enjoyed my post today.
Have a wonderful day friends.

Little Adventurous Bird

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today.

I've used the Bird Panel clear stamp set.  This set has 9 stamps and I've used 6 of them on my card.  I wanted to focus on the phrase so I stamped it on a tag, then added several different birds along the edges before matting it with coral cardstock.

On the background I also stamped an assortment of birds to give the paper a little more dimension.  I then matted the panel on cardstock to finish off my card.  The tag was adhered with foam adhesives for dimension and ribbons added to the tag.

Thanks for stopping by today.

surely the stars danced

Hi everyone! Ashley here today and I'm sharing a card I made using the Earth and Sky cling stamp set. This is sort of a baby themed card, which I don't typically do a lot of, but my cousin just had a baby boy so it fits.
I used some white sparkle flocking on the cloud stamps. For the stars I grabbed a stencil and embossing paste and used a light blue shimmery blue embossing powder. The sentiment is stamped with white fine detail embossing powder.
This stamp set has many sentiments and can really be a versatile set to have in your stash. It's by no means a totally baby themed stamp set or I wouldn't get much use of it! In fact, I recently shared another card using a sentiment from this stamp set that has a totally different theme.

Here's one final look at my card:

Viva Fiesta

Hello friends. This week in San Antonio we are celebrating Fiesta. Fiesta began in the late 1800's as just a single parade to honor the memory of the hero's of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Today it has grown into a celebration of San Antonio's rich and diverse cultures. We are celebrating the 125 year anniversary this year.   It runs for ten straight days. There are Queens of every order. There are events like Oyster Bake, Taste of New Orleans, a huge Carnival and NIOSA which is Night In Old San Antonio. There are three huge parades. The Texas Cavilers Parade is takes place on the San Antonio River. Then it is the Battle of Flowers parade and then the closing event is the big Fiesta Flambeau on Saturday night. It is a celebration for sure. If you would like to find out more information on Fiesta visit the website http://www.fiesta-sa.org/. You can follow me on Instagram and I will be trying to post pictures from NIOSA and the Flambeau parade. Muffins and Lace

Today my card has the Fiesta theme. I used two different stamp sets to make a Fiesta theme cake. You all know by now I have a love of sugar skulls and a Fiesta event is not complete without one.

I stamped the cake on a piece of white cardstock and then stamped the sugar skull on the top. I colored the images with Copic markers. I only used bright colors since it is for a party. :) I didn't have a fiesta sentiment stamp so I hand wrote the words Viva Fiesta on the bottom of the card. To add a few finishing touches I added a few small rhinestones to the cake and sugar skull.

Other Products used:
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Acrylic Blocks
Copic Markers
Rhinestones
White Cardstock
Black Cardstock

Sparkle Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and I've got a sparkly card for you today.

I'm using the Single Dot Border stamp, repeatedly stamping it across my yellow card base.  After inking around the panel, I adhered it to pink cardstock then wrapped pink ribbon around the panel before adhering it to the black card.

I placed rhinestones in most of the dots, leaving room for the sentiment.  Sparkle is from the stamp set With Some Sparkle and I chose to use just the one word.

I hope you sparkle today.

Thanks for stopping by today.

sunshine and black eyed Susans

Hi all, Ashley here! We have had the craziest spring I can remember. March was warmer than average and now we're having snow. That's Indiana weather for you, but I'm ready to see my spring flowers! This Black Eyed Susan stamp set was just what I needed to bring some color to my day!
I stamped my image with Versamark and used white fine detail embossing powder to heat emboss the image. Then I used my Copic markers to loosely color the stamped image and used some distress ink blending around the very edges of the base for the sky and the grass. I thought the colors of my flowers were too bright for a black center of black eyed Susans so I just colored the center the same color as the flowers.

My sentiment is from the Earth and Sky stamp set and I thought these flowers could definitely bring some sunshine to any day! I adhered my flowered base to the card base and tied on some twine.

Coffee....

Hello friends. Larissa here today with a fun coffee card. I used two different sets today for my card. I am using Texas Clear Stamp Set and Playing with Your Coffee Stamp Set. If you remember last month I made the same coffee cups with the sugar skulls. You can do so much with them.
I stamped the coffee cup twice on a piece of white cardstock. I then stamped the smallest bluebonnet in the middle of each cup. I colored them using Copic markers. I then took a piece of watercolor paper and added some blue and green watercolors. After it dried really good I cut the coffee cups out and used some foam tape to pop them up. The watercolor paper is matted with a piece of blue cardstock and adhered to a white card base.

Products Used:
Watercolor Paper
Distress Inks
Blue and White Cardstock
Copic Markers

Hola

Hello friends. Larissa here today with a fun card using Dia De Los Muertos Hombre stamp set.
I know I have mentioned this is the past but my home town San Antonio will be celebrating Fiesta this month and this card will fit perfectly. Fiesta will run a little over 2 weeks. I am excited as I have not been able to attend the events the last few years but this year we are attending a couple.

So onto my card.
I started off stamping one of the flags in a pattern over the entire background using
Stampin Up Gumball Green and Pacific Point Ink.
I then stamped the roses along the bottom and colored them using Prismacolor Pencils.
I stamped the skeleton and colored him with Copic markers then cut him out with a pair of detailed scissors. I stamped the sentiment in the top right corner.

I see me using this stamp a few more times this month.
I hope you enjoyed my short post today.
Have a wonderful day friends.
Viva Fiesta!
