Imagine

Hello PWP fans! Its Amber here with you today sharing a card I created with the Vintage Melange Cling Stamp SetThis stamp set contains 7 different stamps and can be purchased cling mounted or unmounted. I used the unmounted set to create this card. I wanted to make a statement with this card so I used the large round image from the stamp set as my main focal image. This image is another one of my favorites, it can be colored or left uncolored like I did here. I chose to leave my image uncolored because I was using a brightly colored and busy patterned paper for the base of my card. You can check out a close up below.

Thanks for visiting! Don't forget we would love to see what you make with Paper Wings Productions Stamps so add your projects to our Flickr Group,to Pinterest, or leave a comment with a link to your project. You can also check out our Facebook Page and You Tube Page for daily inspiration.

Hey ya'll - art journal page

Hello, hello PWP fans, Norma here with you today!  What's been up for me lately is the Southern Sayings Stamp set.  I just got this set and I've already used four of the six sentiments.   Today I'm using "hey ya'll" from the set.  I'm also using the Triangle Border and the Happy Day stamp sets.

I started with a blue and green background and added the backing of used joint tape.  (nothing goes to waste around here)  Next I added tiny flowers with molding paste and a Finnabair Prima stencil.  Then I cut down the backing from the stencil packaging and added a triangle border.

This cutie is from the Vintage Cuties clip art sheet.  I'm using the back of a picture frame to hold the image in place.

I found this beautiful bling frame in my stash.  It adds the perfect touch to my focal image.

To compete my design, I added flowers from my stash and Pink Paislee Cottage Farms Paper Goods from the May Nestings Components kit.  My sentiment "hey ya'll" is from the Southern Sayings stamp set.

I strayed all of the flowers with Lindy's Spray ink for a little shimmer.

Finally, I added "oh happy day" to the top and a die cut pencil just for fun.

I Love You to the Moon

*****To join our February Challenge: Anything Goes, CLICK HERE*****

Happy Saturday everyone!!  Norma here with you today to share a little scrapbooking inspiration.  Stamps are a great way to make your layouts unique and custom.  I love using my stamps to create interesting backgrounds and patterned papers.

So for this layout I used the Creative Girl kit, the May Nesting Components kit, Vintage Melange stamp setMilagros stamp set, Follow Your Heart stamp set and the You and Me stamp set.  I started out by piecing together the large heart.  I did this by drawing a heart on a scrap piece of paper, cut it out and then glued strips of the Creative Girl papers on top.

After that, I carefully stamped the border from the Vintage Melange stamp set around the heart.  I curved the stamp to fit all of the rounded edges.  I also added a little doodling, I just couldn't help myself, lol. I pulled out the May Nesting Components kit for the Pink Paislee Paper Goods.  I cut one of the pieces into the shape of a banner and stamped it with the heart included in the Milagros stamp set.

I stamped "love" from the Follow Your Heart stamp set for the backdrop of my photo.  To matte my pic, I used red tissue paper.  The sentiment from the You and Me stamp set is just perfect for my layout.

You can find the crotchet doilies I used in the Creative Girl kit.  The rose and bling flourish are both from my stash.  For more inspiration check out Carrie's Throwback Thursday post.  It's filled with lots of gorgeous projects.  Thanks so much for joining me today and if you haven't check out this month's Anything Goes Challenge, you can do so HERE.  I hope you'll join!!  Have a wonderful weekend!!

Creative Playtime!

Hello & Welcome to all of the new PWP followers!!  Norma here with you today to share the results of my last creative session.  Summer has been real busy for me and I've been spending most of my time with my family.  So I was really craving a little creative playtime.  I dug into my stash of Paper Wings goodness and created this art journal page:

Whenever I get new stamps, I like to stamp them in my art journal just to get a feel for them and that's exactly what this page was full of when I started.

Here is a look at my art journal page when I started.  It was stamped with the beautiful Wildflowers sentiment, "there's always hope" up top and "indian paintbrush" down on the bottom.  There was also random stenciling all over the page.

I covered the doodled heart with a mask, then stamped the flower from the Flower Power stamp set using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  I embossed the flowers to seal in the color so that I could continue to add layers of colors on top of the distress inks.

I added color with Faber-Castell Gelatos.  All I did was scribble with the gelato and then used a wet brush to blend the color out.

I colored in the Indian Paintbrush flower with Prismacolor pencils and then darkened my doodles with black India ink.

To add more color, I pulled out the stencil from the Aug Nesting Components kit and Dylusions ink.

I continued to build layers using the Perfect Numbers stamp set and rubons from the May Nesting Components kit.

This beautiful little lady is also from the May Nesting Components kit.

To finish it off, I added some of the smaller flowers from the Flower Power stamp set.  I love that I was able to mix so many wonderful Paper Wings products into this one page.

Have you visited the online store lately?!  Carrie has added new items like the gelatos I used on this project.  You should really go check it out ;D

Thanks so much for stopping by & have a beautiful day!!!
