A Cup of Tea

Hello friends. Larissa here with you today using the stamp set Tea Time. 

I stamped the images on a piece of watercolor paper. I watercolored the entire background with a watered down black. I kept adding more water until I got the effect I was looking for. It kind of looks like I just dropped it on the paper. :) I used one shade of blue for the cup as well. I just added more water here and there to get the highlights.

This is another fun set. There are 4 different sentiments with the set.

Stamped Fabric Tutorial

Hey everyone, Katie here! Today I wanted to share with you this stamped fabric I made! I made a bunch of hand printed fabrics like this for my Mom for Christmas (she's a quilter!) and they turned out so awesome, I wanted to show you how I made them.

I used the Tea time stamp set and the Play with your Coffee stamp set to create this tea themed fabric.

You'll need fabric paint (or a good ink that is permanent on fabric), a stamp, acrylic block and a palette.

1. Spread out a little fabric paint onto your palette and press your stamp into it like you would an ink pad.

2. Stamp your design onto your fabric just like you would paper!

I started by stamping my largest stamp (the big teacup) a few times around my fabric, and then filling the blank areas in with smaller stamps.

What's Up Wednesday: A Stamped Mini Album

Hey guys, Happy Wednesday! Katie here for today's What's up Wednesday post. The project I wanted to share with you guys today is a fun little mini album I put together!

I kept the front cover fairly simple, because I really wanted the stamped title to stand out. I used the Funky Alphabet to stamp out my title.

For my pages, I used both Sacred Geometry and Sacred Geometry 2 stamp sets and stamped the amazing geometric designs around just the edges of my card stock. I colored them with gelatos and then stitched my papers onto my pages.

This was a little time consuming, stamping around the edges of every page, front and back but worth it!

One my photos were glued on, I used the border stamp from the Tea Time set and stamped it along the edges.

Mixed Media Monday- Tea time

Hi guys, Katie here! I used the Tea Time Nesting Components Kit and the Tea Time stamps to create this art journal page spread for today's Mixed Media Monday post!

I used gelli prints for the backgrounds, going around the edges with gesso and then mint gelatos. I love that lace border stamp in the tea time stamp set, so I added that to the inside of the gesso/gelato border.

I also made a packing tape transparency using on of the tea clip art images that came in the kit. I covered it with clear tape, soaked it in water for a minute and then lightly rubbed off the paper so that it is transparent. I love how you can see the gelli print background through the teacups!

The design team has been doing some amazing projects using the Tea Time Nesting Components Kit. Norma created this gorgeous layout, and Amber made some beautiful mixed media cards.

Hey guys, Katie here!For today's Featured Friday post I am featuring this cute mini book I made using the July Nesting Components kit! I am a total tea lover, so of course you can imagine how excited I was when I saw that this months kit was tea themed. 

I used the supplies from this kit combined with the new Tea Time stamps to create this mini book.

I really loved the little tea charms that came in the kit, so I attached those to the binding of my book using some twine I had (not included in the kit).

July New Releases!

"I love this kit and had a great time creating with it. You can say I have used  most parts of it since the base for this canvas actually are the stiff cardboard that comes with the kit bag. First I prepped the cardboard with thin white gesso. When dry, I glued on strips of patterned paper from the kit. After some more drying I added a bit more gesso, paints (spray mist, acrylic paint) and the decorations. To finish it all of I added a quote by C.S Lewis that I really love."
