Thanks is for Giving Layout

Hello!  Norma here with you today to shine the spotlight on scrapbooking, with stamps of course.  I was able to create a simple yet beautiful background using stamps.

I started out with a cream colored sheet of cardstock and stamped the new Tile Pattern stamp (love by the way) with resist ink and then sprayed it with Dylusions and Lindy's Stamp Gang inks.

After that I used the Writing Cling stamp to create another layer of detail in the background.

When I create, I love to add multiple layers and scrapbooking is no different.  Here I created layers of texture beginning with the Lindy's Stamp Gang Fusible Webbing included in the Sept Nesting Components kit.  I placed it on the background paper then sprinkled Lindy's Madonna Blue Robe embossing powder and set with my heat gun.   Then I added a library card from the March Nesting Components kit.  I also used a kraft tag from the Sept Nesting Components kit.  I stamped it with both of the leaves on the Leaf Stamp Set.  Finally, I matted my photo with a piece of cream colored burlap.

To dress my layout, I created this little cluster using the Prima leaves and velvet ric rack trim from the Sept Nesting Components kit.  I also used a little pumpkin applique that has literally been in my stash for over ten years.  That's crazy right, lol?!  You just don't know how happy I am to have FINALLY used it, lol!  Okay, for my title I used the Thanks is for Giving stamp which also has several beautiful fall themed stamps on it.

That's it, a quick and easy layout with a custom background.  So don't forget to breakout those stamps when you're scrapbooking!  Thanks so much for stopping  for a little visit!

Have a wonderful Sunday and rest up for the new week ;D
