Enjoy The Little Things

***** Join our May "Anything Goes" Challenge HERE *****

Hello everyone! It's Amber here with this weeks Feature Friday Post. Today I am sharing this colorful double stamped card. I used one of the images from the Vintage Domino Melange Cling Stamp Set. If your a regular PWP follower then you know this is one of my favorite sets and I have been using it a lot lately. I can't seem to help myself, so I hope you don't mind me sharing another card. Below is a quick little tutorial on my process for double stamping.

I started by choosing an image and two different colored  ink pads that coordinated with my patterned paper. I used Versa Color's  Peony and Sage for my image.

First I stamped my image in Peony onto a white piece of cardstock. I usually like to stamp the darker color first and then add the lighter color over the top.

Then I inked up the same image in Sage and stamped it directly over the first image. You can see in the photo above that the Sage ink lightened up the Peony ink but the two colors still blended nicely together. You might want to try combining different colors and double stamping the image a few different times onto a scrap piece of paper first before trying it on your cardstock,  it can be a little tricky lining the image up.

Thanks for visiting! Don't forget we would love to see what you make with Paper Wings Productions Stamps so add your projects to our Flickr Group, to Pinterest, or leave a comment with a link to your project. You can also check out our Facebook Page and You Tube Page for daily inspiration.

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday! It's Amber here with this weeks Feature Friday Post! Do you have any fun weekend plans? We’d love to hear them! I know most of you are already in Holiday mode, I know I am and its only the beginning of November but I thought it would be fun to share something a little different then a Fall/Thanksgiving themed card! I’m super excited to bring you a cheery card to brighten up your Friday!

For today’s card I used Paper Wings Productions Vintage Technology clear stamp set along with some water colored pencils. I really love the pretty combination of light purple and yellow so I used that as my color combo today.

The close up above shows how I water colored the typewriter with some light purple and yellow water colored pencils. You can also see the Hello sentiment I stamped onto the paper that is sticking out of the typewriter a little better. Thanks for visiting!

Flying By To Say Hi & Some Halloween Inspiration

Hello everyone, it's Amber here! Today I have a Witchy Halloween card to share for this weeks Themed Thursday Post. Before I get to my card I thought it would be fun to share some other Halloween themed cards/projects from the other DT members to get your Halloween mojo flowing! First up check out these two fabulous placeholders Shay created last week using Paper Wings Productions Little Halloween clear stamp set, Halloween Mix It Up clear stamp set, School Journaling Lines clear stamp set, and Funky Lower Case Alphabet clear stamp set!

It's a fun post you don't want to miss, she shares how to transform a Witches hat into a Pilgrims hat. How cute is that! You can check out Shay's original post HERE.  Second up is Erica's three fabulous projects!

Erica created a cute little gift bag, an adorable card, and a fabulous tag last week using Paper Wings Productions Little Halloween Clear Stamp Set. You can check out Erica's original post HERE and if your still in need of some Halloween inspiration you can check out this months Wicked Blog Hop by starting HERE. Now that you have been tricked and treated I have another card for you to check out. Today I am featuring Paper Wings Productions Witchy Halloween cling stamp set, Fall Add Ons clear stamp set, and Text cling stamp set.

For this card I started by stamping the text background in carney yellow onto my white card base. After I had my card base stamped I layered a square piece of patterned paper over my card base, edged it with some black stitching, and added a small square of yellow cardstock towards the top. I then stamped my witch in black onto a piece of orange patterned paper and stamped my sentiment in black onto a yellow strip of cardstock. After I had my image and sentiment stamped I circle punched the witch, matted it to the yellow cardstock,  trimed and cut the ends of my sentiment and added it to the card front.

Feature Friday- Halloween Minis

Hello everyone! It's Amber here with this weeks Feature Friday Post. Since today is Friday the 13th I thought it would be fun to share two mini Halloween cards. I used Paper Wings Productions Little Halloween Clear Stamp Set for both of my minis.

I really love the little pumpkin and bat, for a little stamp set it has lots of sentiments to choose from.

For this card I started by stamping the little bat and my "Boo To You" sentiment in the middle of a square piece of white cardstock. Then I lightly colored my bat with a black chalk colored pencil. After I had my bat colored I took a scrap piece of paper that had a circle punched out of it and used it as a template for a  moon. I just centered the circle over my bat and sentiment and lightly colored with an orange and yellow chalk pencil and blended the two colors together. I did the same thing for the pumpkin card below except I  left out the moon and left the pumpkin and sentiment on their own. To finish my two cards I added a piece of patterned paper with some stitching around the edges behind my images and sentiments.

If your in the market for some new Halloween stamps you should check out the shop. There are a lot of fabulous Halloween and holiday stamp sets to choose from along with all the new stamps Carrie added to the shop a few weeks ago. Dancing Stars

Hello everyone its Amber here with this weeks Whats Up Wednesday post. This week I'm sharing this star studded button card.

I just love this sentiment that comes with the Earth & Sky Cling Stamp Set. I got the idea for my background from the sentiment. The mini button stars look like their dancing in the sky with all the clouds around. To make the clouds stand out against the pink cardstock I colored them with a white colored pencil.

We would love to see what you make with Paper Wings Productions Stamps so add your projects to our Flickr Group, Pinterest, Facebook, or leave a comment with a link to your project. Also Friday the Design Team hop kicks off at 7:00 am CST and we'll be giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to the online store and a few of  our designers will also be giving away a little candy along the way. Celebrate

Hello everyone! It's Amber here with another Themed Thursday Post. For this weeks theme I'm sharing two Celebration cards that are very much alike but different.  For my two cards I used Paper Wings Productions Text & Muertos Cling Stamp Sets and the Banner Day Clear Stamp Set.

I used the same layout for both cards but changed them up by using different colored cardstock, different focal point stamps, and different Text background stamps. This is a great way to make a set of cards, you can use the same layout but make every card in the set a little different with out having to pull out a million different supplies.

Before I go I thought I would recap a few things that were announced earlier this week. On Monday Carrie announced the new design team, unveiled the new Paper Wings Productions website and shared a few new cling stamp sets that are now available in the shop. You can check all that out HERE.  If that wasn't exciting enough on Tuesday Norma shared this fabulous stamping and embossing technique using gelatos, you can check that out HERE.

Armed & Dangerous Mixed Media Layout

Hello everyone, its Amber here sharing a layout for this weeks Mixed Media post. Today I am using the Snapshot Framer Clear Stamp Set, some Studio Calico Patterned Paper, a large vellum quote, and a butterfly embellishment along with a few other supplies.

 This is a 12x12 layout that uses a 5 x 6 photo and a smaller 1 3/4 x 2 1/2 photo. That blued eyed cutie is my cat Pookie.

I used the frame from the Snapshot Framer set and added a smaller photo behind it and then stamped Monday under the photo.

I continued the rest of the weekdays under my patterned paper.

Hope

Hello everyone! It's Amber here sharing a stamped and colored card today for this weeks Themed Thursday Post. Today I will be using the Snapshot Framer Set and the Crane Panel Set.

For my card I started by stamping the frame from the Snapshot Framer onto a white and teal piece of cardstock. I cut out, stamped hope and set aside the teal frame. Then I stamped the crane from the Crane Panel set onto the white cardstock frame, colored it and cut it out. After I had all that done I cut and stitched a piece of patterned paper and adhered it to my card front along with two buttons. I then added my teal frame with the crane and stamped the other half of the sentiment to the bottom right of my card. You can see a close up below.

Feature Friday- Mermaid Hello

Hello Everyone it's Amber here to share another Feature Friday Post. Today I thought I would Feature another Clear Stamp Set that can be found in the shop HERE. This cute little set is fun, cute, and whimsical and I just had to use it again.

I thought it would be fun to create a colorful clean and simple card today. I started by cutting two pieces of patterned paper( one piece is 2" x 5 1/2" and the smaller orange piece is 1/4" x 5 1/2" ) and stitched to my card front. After that I stamped my mermaid onto a 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" piece of white cardstock, colored, stitched, and matted with a piece pf yellow patterned paper. Last but not least I cut a  3/4" x 2" piece of orange patterned paper, added my clear sticker sentiment, and then stitched to my card front.  Below you will find my supply list and don't forget we would love to see what you make with Paper Wings Productions Stamps so add your projects to our Flickr Group, to Pinterest, or leave a comment with a link to your project.
