Mixed Media Monday - Stamped Raindrop Bracelet

Hi Paper Wings fans! Dana here with you today sharing a fun off-the-page project that I created with items from the Creative Girl Mixed Media Kit. The Cosmo Cricket Wooden Shape Rainbow Set caught my eye. The raindrops have holes at the top and bottom and they were just begging to be linked together!

I created this fun raindrop bracelet in a few simple steps.

Step One: Separate the raindrops that have a hole in both the top and bottom from the Cosmo Cricket Wooden Shape Rainbow Set. (Note how many pieces are still left in the set! The set of jump rings I used to link the raindrops are not included in the kit.)

Step Two: Select a Paper Wings Productions Stamp and a color of waterproof ink to add a pattern to the raindrops. Hint: Apply a piece of double-sided tape to your work surface and then arrange the wood pieces on top to hold them down during stamping. Note: I chose a waterproof ink because I planned to add color to the wood after stamping.

I used the Vintage Lace Clear Stamp included in the Creative Girl Kit.

Step Three: Link the raindrops together with jump rings. Attach a clasp to one end of the bracelet.

Step Four: Add color to the wooden pieces with Lindy's Stamp Gang Nantucket Pearls Mists. Set aside to dry.
